The Solari Circle

A Response to the ‘Tapeworm’ Economy

Catherine Austin Fitts is the founder of www.solari.com/. Fitts invites us to start a Solari Circle -- a "moral conspiracy" of trusted family, friends and neighbors convened to help determine how to "cleanse" your money in a way that is good for you and those you love. The idea of doing a Solari Circle is open-source and free. You have no obligation to anyone but those you choose. Catherine Austin Fitts recommendations are to help us combat what she calls the “Tapeworm Economy”. In a Tapeworm Economy, a small group of insiders consolidate political and economic power at the expense of people, living things and our environment in a manner that destroys real wealth.

Through the blog of Catherine Austin Fitts at http://www.soari.com/blog/?p=113  I came across http://www.kiva.org/  which provides a model that can readily be applied to a community.

Kiva.org revolutionizes the fight against global poverty by being the first nonprofit  web site designed to help individuals connect with and make personal loans to low-income entrepreneurs in developing countries.

With a change in focus and some rewording, we will set up: www.totalhealthcircle.com/CommunitySupport  which will support peer to peer lending and allow investors to give loans to specific local applicants and thus support the economic well-being of the community. We can think of this as a local community bank owned and controlled by the community for the benefit of the community.
